Jog Scotland 5K

After the ultra marathon of the West Highland Way, this week, a sprint round Glasgow Green. Well done to Erica, Neil, Iain, Emma (who set a PB) and Bryan. There were approximately 1200 other runners .

West Highland Way Run

Many congratulations to Graeme for completeing his second West Highland Way Race. This year's pb was a mere 22 hours, 29 minutes and 17 seconds - bringing him in 36th out of 127 finishers. He is now well out in front for this year's  nutter of the year  competition !

Anybody who is new to running and would like some advice on getting started - then come along to Cartha at 6:15  (start running at 6:30) on Tuesday evenings. This includes anyone planning to do next month's Men's 10k in Bellahouston Park.

As long time users of Pollok Park, Bellahouston Harriers are strongly opposed to the prososals for the Go Ape development in the North Wood. We would stongly encourage everyone to go to the Save Pollok Park website and voice their objections.
